Study on three-point-bending fatigue properties of Cu<sub>45</sub>Zr<sub>45</sub>Ag<sub>7</sub>Al<sub>3</sub> amorphous alloy

Abstract In this article, Cu 45 Zr Ag 7 Al 3 amorphous alloys were prepared by copper mold suction casting method and its three-point-bending fatigue performance researched. The structural characteristics of the alloy analyzed using x-ray diffraction (XRD), fracture morphology was scanning electron microscopy (SEM). results indicate that surface mainly includes three regions: crack initiation region, steady-state propagation region with typical stripes final rapidly region. source is micropores ranging in size from 30 to 50 μ m, where numerous shear bands formed. And limit 410MPa, which higher than four-point-bending limit.
